No, the Discord team does not send chains around. The next point to analyze here is: "- Discord team". In this case, it captures everyone's attention by saying someone (some random, normal Discord user) is a hacker or spy that is there to steal your data, and that, if you don't share, your data could be stolen or something. For example, chains that say "share this chain or someone next to you will suffer" are very common. The chance of a "chain" being true is actually very slim, and more so when it contains threatening content. Messages IDENTICAL to that (just changing the name) go around Discord all the time. Looks like I'll have to explain it better (please read everything).
